Tropical Storm Elsa Heads Toward Florida After Making Landfall In Cuba

Hurricane Elsa made landfall in Cuba as a tropical storm accompanied with some heavy rains in the early hours of July 5, 2021. It is now said to be heading toward Florida, USA.
Hurricane Elsa became the first hurricane in 2021 of the Atlantic hurricane season on July 2, 2021 when it hit Barbados and St. Lucia as Category 1 hurricane with winds of 74 mph and 79 mph respectively. In Barbados it reportedly damaged some homes and institutional buildings, as well as powerlines. The hurricane then proceeded as a tropical storm to Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, among others, before reaching Cuba.
