Tanzania's Constitutional And Legal Affairs Minister Dies

Tanzania's Minister for Constitutional and Legal Affairs Augustine Mahiga has died, reported some African media. Mr Mahiga is said to have died on arrival at a hospital in the country's capital Dodoma on May 1, 2020. He was 74.

Augustine Mahiga is the third senior Tanzanian politician who have died in the past two weeks. The other two are members of parliament Richard Ndassa and Gertrude Rwakatare who died on April 29, 2020 and April 20, 2020 respectively. All the three deceased politicians belong to the ruling party CCM.
