Tribal Massacre In Papua New Guinea Leaves 20 Dead
At least 20 people were killed in a tribal massacre in Papua New Guinea on July 8, 2019, reported some media on July 10, 2019. Among the dead are children. According to the reports, the massacre occurred in the country's Hela Province, when assailants from Peta village launched an attack on Karida village.
The bloody attack is said to have been a retaliation to an attack made earlier on July 6, 2019, by some assailants from Karida village on Peta village, in which at least 6 people were killed.
