Resolution To Impeach Trump Fails Miserably
Updated: Jul 19, 2019

An impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump of USA, by the country's Democratic Party was severely defeated in voting in the House of Representatives on July 17, 2019. The vote was 332 and 95, against and for the resolution respectively, according to some media on July 18, 2019. The resolution was a brainchild of Democratic Representative Al Green of Texas.
The bid to oust the popular Make America Great Again president, is said to have been catalyzed by recent heated exchange of words in tweets between the president and four female non-European American members of the House of Representatives. The president allegedly accused the women, also known as The Squad, of anti-patriotism and antisemitism, while the women retaliated by calling him a racist.
Since coming to power, any remarks or comments President Trump have made against non-European Americans or just non-Europeans, have often been quickly branded racist, hence depriving possibility of any constructive discussion or debate ensuing. The president has relentlessly maintained he is not a racist in any way.
