Multiple Massive Explosions In Equatorial Guinea Leave 20 Dead

Multiple massive explosions rocked Equatorial Guinea’s largest city, Bata, on the afternoon of March 7, 2021, leaving at least 20 people dead and more than 300 wounded. That was reported by various media.
The explosions said to have been at least four, occurred in a military base in the city of about 0.8 million inhabitants. What caused the deadly explosions is not yet known.
Equatorial Guinea has vast reserves of oil and gas. However, majority of its about 1.4 million inhabitants reportedly live in poverty due to high levels of non-inclusiveness.
