Malawi's Vice President Killed In Plane Crash

Malawi's Vice President Saulos Chilima has been killed in a plane crash, reported some African media on June 11, 2024.
According to the reports, the vice president was killed after a military plane he was travelling in crashed in bad weather conditions into a montane forest in the north of the country, on June 10, 2024.
All other 9 people on board the ill-fated aircraft, that included former First Lady Patricia Shanil Dzimbiri earlier Patricia Shanil Muluzi, were also killed in the crash.
The vice president is said to have been on his way to a funeral of a cabinent minister, when the fatal accident occurred.
