Kenosha Police Demonstrate Two Race-Led Systems Of Law Enforcement

Updated: Aug 31, 2020

On the early hours of August 26, 2020 local time in Kenosha city, Wisconsin, during angry protests following barbaric shooting in the back of an unarmed African American Jacob Blake in front of his children, by a European American policeman on August 23, 2020, a young European American armed with an automatic rifle stormed a crowd of protesters and gunned down two unarmed African American protesters and wounded one. The murderer then walked away majestically from the murder scene while brandishing his rifle proudly as if nothing had happened. Police who were at the murder scene did nothing before, during and after the fatal shooting. According to one of Jacob Blake family attorneys and some other sources, the police simply ignored the murderer and even gave him some drinking water before allowing him to go home. He was, however, arrested later in neighboring state of Illinois.

Appalled and shocked by the police response to the shooting by the murderer who is allegedly a right wing vigilante probably belonging to the notorious racist group White Supremacists, Mr Benjamin Crump, one of the attorneys representing Jacob Blake and his family, on August 27, 2020 wondered why the police that belong to the same police authority of which one its member had previously shot unarmed Jacob Blake seven times in the back in front of his children, did not shoot the armed evil European American murderer.

The answer to Mr Crump is simple and clear, the police did not shoot the European American murderer because they are racists. Their inaction that doubtlessly led to the murder of the two African American protesters illustrates vividly their deliberately falsified racist believe that lives of European Americans matter more than that of African Americans hence portrays two de facto race-led systems of law enforcement in Kenosha city, one for European Americans and another for African Americans. That may apply to other parts of USA as well.

Within the above context, it is doubtless that if the armed young murderer were an African American, he would have been gunned down by the police just as he entered the protests on that dreadful night in Kenosha city!
