A jury of seven women and five men in a court in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on the afternoon of April 20, 2021 (local time), found Derek Chauvin guilty of three charges of murder over the death of George Floyd. That was reported by various media.
More specifically, the jury found the racist European American former policeman Derek Chauvin guilty of: second degree murder, third degree murder, and manslaughter over the death of George Floyd. The jury is said to have reached its verdict after 10 hours of deliberations that spanned two days.
Unarmed African American George Floyd was killed barbarically on May 25, 2020, after Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck while pinned on a roadside floor, for 9 minutes and 29 seconds, deliberating suffocating him to death despite George Floyd’s persistent complaints that he couldn’t breath. The killing triggered massive protests worldwide, against racism and police brutality, that lasted for months. _________________________ © 2015 - 2021 Africauptodate. All Rights Reserved
