Japan’s Ex-PM Shinzo Abe Gunned Down

Japan’s ex-Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is dead, reported some Japanese media. Mr Abe was shot multiple times with a homemade gun during a campaign rally in the country’s city of Nara in the morning of July 8, 2022, according to the reports. He was taken to hospital where died later during the day from his gun shot wounds. He was 67.
