Jada Pinkett Smith Reveals Separation From Will Smith

Jada Pinkett Smith (52) has revealed that she and her husband Will Smith (55) have been separated for years, reported some US media on October 11, 2023.

According to the reports, she made the revelation in an interview with NBC News, that is yet to be aired. In the interview, the actress reportedly said she and the legendary movie megastar have been living completely separate lives since 2016. She, however, observed that they are not yet formally divorced. She is said to have added that they delayed making their separation known to the public because they have been figuring out how to do that.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith tied the knot in November 1997. Their separation in 2016 therefore implies 19 years of marriage. That is well above the average length of celebrity marriages in Hollywood, said to be only 7.4 years. For many celebrities there, marriage is just for a while, with some couples not even making it to their 1st wedding anniversary.
