Halle Berry Says Late Dad Was Victim Of Familial Circumstances As She Expresses Love For Him

Halle Berry has delivered a philosophical bombshell saying that her late dad that she once described as alcoholic and abusive, was in fact a victim of the familial circumstances through which he grew up. This was inferred from utterances utterances she made in a recent NPR's podcast episode, and reported by some media on December 9, 2021.

According to the reports, Halle Berry is said to have observed, among others, that her dad was not born alcoholic and abusive, but he became that because of what he was given or not given, what he was exposed to and what he was not exposed to.

She reportedly elaborated by citing familial traumas that date backwards to her grandparents, that she said emanated from slavery. The Grammy award actress continued that there were these generational familial traumas that are the factors that made her dad the sort of person he was. The movie megastar reportedly concluded that this understanding of the factors behind her dad’s behavioral patterns has made her have lots of love and empathy for him as well as sad for the life that he lived.
