George Floyd’s killer Derek Chauvin was on June 25, 2021, sentenced by a court in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to 22.5 years in jail. Earlier on April 20, 2021, the court's jury found the European American former policeman guilty of three charges of murder over the death of George Floyd.
Unarmed African American George Floyd was killed barbarically on May 25, 2020, after Derek Chauvin kneeled on his neck while pinned on a roadside floor, for 9 minutes and 29 seconds, deliberating suffocating him to death despite George Floyd’s persistent yelling that he couldn’t breath.
