Eddie Murphy Is Off The Couch

Iconic African American movie superstar Eddie Murphy has not been seen on the screen for quite sometime. The last time he appeared there was in 2016, in a movie called Mr Church. But now the 58 year old popular actor is back onto the scene, reported some US media on September 9, 2019.

According to the reports, Eddie Murphy's return to action is not ordinary. He returns in a big time Netflix movie called Dolemite Is My Name in which Snoop Dogg and Wesley Snipes are co-starring.

Dolemite Is My Name was premiered at Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2019. It will be open to the public in some US theaters on October 4, 2019, and on Netflix on October 25, 2019.

In explaining his absence from the screen for so long, Eddie Murphy reportedly said he has been on the couch taking a rest because he was tired.
