Diddy And Cassie Settle Sexual Assault Lawsuit

On November 16, 2023, Casandra Elizabeth Ventura alias Cassie filed a lawsuit in a court in New York City, against her former boyfriend Diddy, in which she made some sexual assult claims against him. The claims included rape and physical abuse that allegedly took place during the period they dated, i.e., between 2005 and 2018. However, the Me & U hitmaker and the billionaire rapper have now reached an amicable settlement in the lawsuit, reported some US media on November 18, 2023.

According to the reports, Cassie and Diddy reached the settlement in the lawsuit at undisclosed amount of money on November 17, 2023, about 24 hours after the lawsuit was filed. The settlement is said to have been announced by both Cassie and Diddy on November 17, 2023, through their attorneys.

In his announcement of the settlement, Diddy reportedly wished Cassie well and reiterated his strong denial of the claims made by Cassie in the lawsuit.
