Death Toll From Equatorial Guinea Explosions Increases To Over 100

Death toll from the multiple massive explosions in Equatorial Guinea’s city of Bata has increased to over 100. That was announced by the government there on March 9, 2021. The announcement adds that more than 600 people have been injured and some people may still be buried in rubble.
The massive explosions that occurred in a military base on March 7, 2021 are now known to have been caused by fire that detonated carelessly stored dynamites. The explosions devastated surrounding built up areas.
