Cuba Vaccinates Kids Against Covid-19 With Its Own Vaccines

Cuba on September 3, 2021, began vaccinating children aged 2 – 18, against Covid-19. That was reported by some media on September 4, 2021.

The nationwide vaccination of children is said to be a requirement for schools to reopen again, after they have been closed since March 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, lessons have been offered remotely through television.

Cuba is using its own two domestically made Covid-19 vaccines, namely Abdala and Soberana2, for the children vaccination campaign.
