Coco Jones has released an awesome new single called Taste. In generating the new single that was published on YouTube on February 21, 2025, Coco Jones sampled creatively Britney Spears' iconic 2003 single Toxic.
Music sampling is emerging as a major music production technique. In simple terms, the technique entails reuse of a portion of existing songs or sound recordings to create new songs or sound recordings. The portion, i.e., sample, could be some music elements like vocals, sound effects, rhythms, instrumentation, etc. The question arising, however, is whether songs produced through sampling can be classified as aunthetic.
