Cardi B Denies Husband’s Infidelity And Publicity Stunt As Reasons For Seeking Divorce

In a video shared on Instagram on September 18, 2020, popular rapper Cardi B strongly denied rumors that the reasons why she filed for divorce from her husband Offset are his infidelity, as well as to trigger public attention for her forthcoming album. Instead she said the reason for filing for divorce is that she and her husband have grown apart.

More specifically, rapper Cardi B said, and we partly quote:

“Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart….”

She continued as thus:

“…..sometimes you´re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave”

Cardi B reportedly filed for divorce from rapper Offset to Fulton County Court in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 15, 2020, reportedly citing their marriage as irretrievably broken.

The celebrity couple got married in 2017 and have a two-year-old daughter together. They separated briefly in 2018 on grounds of Offset´s infidelity allegations.
