Breonna Taylor Family And Louisville City Agrees $12 Million Settlement

Louisville City in Kentucky, on September 15, 2020 announced that it will pay $12 million to Breonna Taylor family as settlement for fatal shooting by the city’s police, Breonna Taylor. That was reported by some media on September 16, 2020.

Breonna Taylor (26) was gunned down on March 13, 2020 when some Louisville Metro police stormed her apartment using a dubious “no knock” search warrant in connection with an alleged drug trafficking investigation.

According to the reports, the family and its attorneys have welcomed the financial settlement as just part of justice for Breonna Taylor, saying that full justice will be attained when the police who gunned her down are arrested for criminal charges. So far, the police involved in the murder are still roaming around freely.
