Botswana Projects Its 2021 Economic Growth At 9.7%

Government of Botswana on August 30, 2021, announced it expects its economy to grow by 9.7% in 2021, an increase from 8.8% it projected earlier this year. According to the announcement that was reported by various media, the new economic growth projection for 2021, is driven by higher diamond sales and rebased Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
