Africa Climate Summit 2023 Kicks Off In Nairobi

Africa Climate Summit 2023 alias 1st Africa Climate Summit kicked off at Kenyatta International Convention Center in downtown Nairobi, Kenya, on September 4, 2023. That was reported by various African media.

The summit was opened officially by hosting President William Ruto, and said to be attended by African heads of state and government, UN Secretary General, non-profit organizations, and researchers, among others.

Reportedly, the summit will focus on, among others, ways for combating climate change in Africa as well as financing of such efforts.

Africa Climate Summit 2023 is scheduled for September 4 - 6, 2023.
