27 Sentenced To Death In Sudan For Torture And Murder

27 members of security forces in Sudan have been sentenced to death by a court in the country for torturing and murdering a teacher, reported some media on December 30, 2019. The torture and murder of the teacher took place during the mass demonstrations that led to the ousting in April 2019 of the country's former dictator Omar al-Bashir.

A great move by the transitional government in Sudan, that sends a strong warning to members of security forces anywhere in the world, who obey orders from dictators to unleash evil on civilians, that they may not escape prosecution and punishment after the dictators have fallen!
