Trump Enters North Korea

President Donald Trump of USA has become the first US president to set foot on North Korea's soil. The unprecedented historic event took place on June 30, 2019 when President Trump crossed into North Korea's side of the Demilitarized Zone alias DMZ that separates North Korea and South Korea, before returning back to the South Korea's side of the DMZ where he had a meeting with Leader Kim Jong Un of North Korea.

This was the third meeting between the two leaders who used to be arch-enemies. The meeting, reportedly Trump's brainchild, is expected to consolidate trust between USA and North Korea hence lessening possibility of future military confrontation between the two nuclear nations.

Even earlier on June 29, 2019 at the 2019 G20 Osaka Summit in Japan, President Trump allowed US high tech firms to resume business with the embattled Chinese high tech giant Huawei.
