Russia Tests Nuclear Capable Hypersonic Missile

Russia announced on December 26, 2018 that it has successfully tested a hypersonic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads.
According to the announcement, the new hypersonic missile can travel as fast as Mach 20 or 20 000 kilometers per hour, and can penetrate any existing missile defense systems of potential enemies anywhere in the world.
The hypersonic missile system will be deployed in 2019, according to the announcement.
