Homosexuality Begins At Adolescence And Could Transitional, Says Kenyan Report
Africa | Entertainment & Lifestyle | Kenya June 11, 2017
In an article published on June 11, 2017, Ouma Wanzala of the Daily Nation (Kenya) presented the findings in a recent report about homosexuality in schools in Kenya. The report is the outcome of a study that was carried out in 2016 by a special investigation team formed by the government of Kenya following the school unrest that took place in the same year. According to Ouma Wanzala, the report suggests that homosexuality begins in primary schools hence at adolescence. The report further suggests that because homosexuality begins at adolescence, it may be an outcome of adolescents' struggle with self-awareness, self esteem, need for acceptance and recognition, etc, hence indicating, perhaps, that it may not be permanent. Also, report observed that some respondents to the study did not think homosexuality among school children was a serious problem, probably because of its transitional nature! ________________ © 2015 - 2017 Africauptodate.
