20 Pupils Perish In School Dormitory Fire In Guyana

At least 20 pupils have perished in a school dormitory fire in Guyana, reported by some media.

According to the reports, the deadly fire started in a girls’ dormitory in a secondary school in Mahdia town, southwest of the country, in the early hours of May 22, 2023.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established, say the reports.
