127 Killed In Military/Civilian Clashes In South Sudan



At least 127 people were killed in bloody clashes on August 8, 2020, between soldiers and armed civilians, reported some media on August 12, 2020. The dead are said to consist of 82 civilians and 45 soldiers. Reportedly, the clashes erupted after soldiers carrying out disarmament of civilians in Tonj East County in Warrap state, got into an argument with a local young civilian.
