113 Perish In Dominican Republic After Roof Of Nightclub Collapses

At least 113 people have perished and about 223 wounded in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, after a roof of a nightclub there collapsed. That was reported by some media.
According to the reports, the roof of the nightclub called Jet Set collapsed in the very early hours of April 8, 2025 (local time), in the midst of a concert by the popular merengue musician Rubby Perez and his orchestra. Some reports say that the musician was wounded but later died as he was been taken to hospital.
The death toll from the tragic incident may rise.
