100 000 CAR Refugees Cross Into DRC

At least 100 000 refugees from Central African Republic (CAR) have crossed into neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), reported some media on January 24, 2021. The refugees are said to be on the run, fleeing from violence emanating from fighting between CAR government forces and rebel armed groups. They have reportedly settled in DRC near the border between the two countries, without food and proper shelter.
